Maximus Zevon Powell started making films at the age of 8. He continued participating in film competitions through high school, winning awards for his cinematography work, and then moved on to more serious short films. His short films have been in the Middlebury New filmmakers Festival for three years running, and the last documentary Winter In Vermont was nominated for four awards. Max’s films embody his quirky style and very particular sense of humor while telling a story that has layers of meaning.
